BENEFIT ASIAN GAMES FOR INDONESIA

Asian Games 2018 was held in Jakarta and Palembang from 18 August until 2 September 2018. As we know,  Asian Games was an Asian multi sport event. This event was participated by 45 countries and 11.720 atlhletes. There was 40 type of sport contested in this event. We must be proud because we can held this fantastic event. So, what is the benefit for Indonesia from holding this event?

So many controversies emerged from this event. Start from facilities and infrastructure renovation fee that reached trillions,  bad city arrangement in Jakarta, athlete's guest house was uncomfortable, etc. From that problems, a lot of parties declare that Indonesia wasn't ready to be host of Asian Games 2018. The complaint not only came from within the country, but came from overseas athletes, too. 

Based on www.liputan6.com, the total fee to held Asian Games 2018 is 23.9 millions. Of course that's not a small number. But don't look at the bad side.  Let's see a lot of positive impacts of Asian Games 2018.

As I said before, the total fee to held Asian Games is fantastic. But from this event, Indonesia get a profit around 3.6 billions.  This fact is based on Bappenas' calculation. This is just the income from Asian Games 2018 visitors. There is income from tourism sector that surely highly increased. From culinary sector, too.  This sector will give a lot of contribution for National Income.

Asian Games 2018 give so many profit for various lining of society. From street-food seller until the entrepreneurs. From villagers until citizens. As Indonesian Citizen, we should proud because we can held this fantastic event and we become popular in the world with our culture and Ethnic Group diversity.
